I love how a simple circle of butterflies can bring so much joy to a card. For this design, I chose bright, cheerful colours to create a rainbow effect, perfect for celebrating life's special moments. The textured background adds subtle detail without detracting from the butterflies, allowing them to shine as the main feature. The sentiment 'Time to celebrate' ties everything together, making this card ideal for birthdays, achievements or any happy occasion. Sometimes the simplest layouts are the most effective, and I can see myself creating this design in lots of different colour combinations. CHARMING DAY CARD | FACEBOOK LIVE

I created this card on my Facebook Live tonight. The soft, floral image from the Charming Day Stamp Set looks pretty against the textured, embossed background, and the touch of patterned paper adds a pop of colour and interest. I couldn’t resist adding a few little details like the gold thread and sequins to give it that extra sparkle. It’s always a pleasure to create live, and share ideas with you. BE INSPIRED | BRIGHT AND BOLD

The Be Inspired Design Team is hopping today, and the theme is Bold and Bright ! I couldn’t resist creating a cheerful rainbow birthday card that really lets the colours do the talking. I’ve used the Alphabet à la Mode Dies to cut the large BIRTHDAY letters in a rainbow of shades from the Stampin' Up! Brights collection of colours, paired with a simple embossed background, to make them pop. A few gold embellishments add the perfect finishing touch without taking away from the bold design. This card is such a happy one to create and I love how the clean layout lets the colours shine. It's the kind of card that's bound to bring a smile to anyone celebrating their special day!
