FILLED WITH SWEETNESS CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

Last night on my Facebook Live I had so much fun creating this sweet little card using the Homemade Sweetness Bundle. I just love how these strawberries come to life with a little watercolouring - they almost look good enough to eat. The embossed background adds beautiful texture without overpowering the focal point, and that touch of gingham paired with the Linen Thread gives it a fresh country-kitchen feel. And "You're the Sweetest" is a sentiment at this perfect for thank-yous, birthdays, or just popping a little happy mail in someone's letterbox.   You can watch the full tutorial on my YouTube channel - just click the link below to see how it came together, step by step. I’d love to know what you think. If you give it a go, be sure to share your version with me! GIFT BAG TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

This week, I made a gift bag during my Wednesday night Facebook Live. This bag uses two sheets of Designer Series Paper plus extra for the handles (although you could always use coordinating Cardstock). The paper I used is the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper, which is the Product of the Month for February - more details below.  I also created a couple of quick cards. I used layouts that could be used to create a multitude of cards, great to have on hand when you need a card! I hope this project inspires you to use your Designer Series Paper! You can watch the full tutorial on my YouTube channel - just click the link below to see how it came together, step by step. I’d love to know what you think. If you give it a go, be sure to share your version with me! If you’d like the full written instructions and dimensions for these cards, make sure you’re subscribed to my newsletter. BE INSPIRED | COLOUR PAIRINGS!

The Be Inspired Design Team is hopping today, and our theme this month is "Colour Pairings"! I can’t wait to see the creative ideas the rest of the team has come up with. Make sure to hop around and check out all the inspiring projects shared by this talented group. Pretty in Pink & Poppy Parade -  An Unexpected Colour Pairing That Works L ook how good these two colours go together! Pretty in Pink and Poppy Parade might not seem like an obvious pairing at first glance, but together they create a look that is bold, fresh, and surprisingly harmonious. Pink and red are often thought of as colours that clash or compete, yet they sit closely together on the colour wheel and work well together. But when you choose the right shade, these two colours complement each other beautifully.  Pretty in Pink brings a softness and lightness to the design, while Poppy Parade adds confidence, energy, and impact. The softer pink tones temper the intensity of the red, and the red grounds the ...
