CRISP CANTALOUPE BIRTHDAY CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

This week's Facebook Live featured this  birthday card that has a fresh, soft feel thanks to the beautiful Crisp Cantaloupe colour. It's one of those designs that looks elegant without being complicated, making it perfect for birthdays. For this card, I paired the Boutique Blossoms Dies with the lovely Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set . These two products work beautifully together, allowing you to create layered floral arrangements that add texture and dimension while keeping the overall design clean and uncluttered. The gingham Designer Series Paper creates a cheerful backdrop, while the white focal panel lets the flowers become the star of the card. I added a layer of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock behind the white panel for a little extra depth before finishing it with a matching ribbon and a few embellishments for just the right amount of sparkle. This week's Facebook Live featured a soft, elegant birthday card showcasing the beautiful Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper, paired with the lovely Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set and coordinating dies. Sometimes a patterned paper is so pretty that it deserves to be the star of the show, and that's exactly what I've done here! The delicate floral print creates a beautiful background, while the embossed white panel adds subtle texture without taking away from the gorgeous paper. The scalloped die-cut provides the perfect focal point for the simple "Happy Birthday" sentiment, finished with a few sweet embellishments and a tiny floral tag for just the right amount of detail. The Be Inspired Design Team is hopping today, and our theme this month is "Sentiments"! I can’t wait to see the creative ideas the rest of the team has come up with. For this sympathy card, I created a delicate floral wreath using die-cut flowers and soft green foliage, keeping the design clean, elegant and heartfelt. WILD BUNCH MINI CARDS TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

I had so much fun creating these sweet little birthday cards during tonight's Facebook Live. Using the Wild Bunch Stamp Set, I created a collection of simple square birthday cards featuring the cute animals. These whimsical images are perfect for quick cards and are so much fun to colour. To keep the design clean and simple, I added soft ink blending behind each image along with a little coordinating splatter. The coloured backgrounds help the characters stand out while keeping the overall design fresh and uncluttered. The Crumb Cake card bases add a lovely natural touch and provide a great contrast to the bright colours. I finished each card with a bold Happy Birthday sentiment and a few embellishments. One of the things I love about this design is how easy it is to create a whole set of cards at once.
