BE INSPIRED | WOW CARDS MADE SIMPLE

The Be Inspired Design Team is hopping today, and this month's theme is "WOW Cards Made Simple"! I can’t wait to see the creative ideas the rest of the team has come up with. Make sure to hop around and check out all the inspiring projects shared by this talented group. For my project, I created two cards using the beautiful Violet Dreams Designer Series Paper . The card on the left is my "simple" version, while the card on the right is the stepped-up version, showing how a few extra techniques can add more detail and dimension without changing the overall design. The simple card features three circles die cut directly from the Violet Dreams Designer Series Paper and arranged over a panel embossed with the gorgeous new Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder , available in the new catalogue launching next week. My card features the beautiful Boutique Blooms and Scalloped Blossoms Stamp Sets and Dies, paired with the soft and feminine Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock and the gorgeous Bloom Boutique and Gingham Gallery Designer Series Papers. I love how the delicate floral patterns and layered die cuts come together to create a sweet and elegant thinking-of-you card. The combination of gingham and floral Designer Series Paper adds plenty of interest, while the white foliage, twine bow and iridescent embellishments provide the perfect finishing touches. THINKING OF YOU CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

This week's Facebook Live combines soft colour, beautiful texture and elegant layers to create a thoughtful "Thinking of You" design. I used the Scallop Blooms Stamp Set and Dies along with the gorgeous Boutique Blossoms Dies to build a delicate floral arrangement in shades of Hydrangea Hue and Peaceful Pine . The subtle embossed background adds interest without overpowering the floral focal point, while the sentiment banner and simple twine bow bring everything together beautifully. The combination of soft blue and gentle green creates a fresh, serene look that's perfect for sending encouragement, friendship or simply letting someone know they're in your thoughts.
