The Be Inspired Design Team is hopping today, and our theme this month is Die-Cutting Skills for Every Stamper " ! I can’t wait to see the creative ideas the rest of the team has come up with. For my project, I wanted to create an elegant card with a soft, monochromatic look while letting texture and metallic accents take centre stage. The focal image comes from the 12 Days of Creativity Advent Calendar, which included this gorgeous floral die. To add a touch of luxury, I embossed the floral image in Gold Embossing Powder before die-cutting it. Layering the gold-embossed floral piece with additional white die cuts creates depth and dimension while maintaining the clean white-on-white aesthetic. A WHOLE BUNCH CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

On Wednesday night's Facebook Live, I created this soft and pretty floral card using supplies from the 12 Days of Creativity Advent Calendar from Stampin' Up! One of the things I've been enjoying most about this Advent Calendar is discovering how many different cards can be made from the contents. Each day reveals another crafty surprise, and it's amazing how easily the pieces can be combined to create unique designs. For this card, I used the beautiful floral image as the focal point and paired it with one of the coordinating patterned papers included in the kit. A simple sentiment, some delicate die-cut foliage and a few embellishments were all that was needed to complete the design. I love the fresh colour combination and the clean layout, which really lets the floral image shine. 12 DAYS OF CREATIVITY MINI CARDS TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

Last night on my Facebook Live, I created these little mini thank-you cards using elements from the 12 Days of Creativity Advent Calendar from Stampin' Up! Sometimes the pre-cut pieces and embellishments included in kits can feel a little too special to use, but I love finding simple ways to turn them into beautiful handmade cards. These mini cards came together quickly and make a lovely way to send a heartfelt thank you. For both designs, I started with a Crumb Cake base and added a layer of the soft woodgrain-style paper from the Advent Calendar. The delicate floral die-cuts provided the focal point, and I finished each card with the coordinating "thanks" sentiment and a few sequins for a touch of sparkle. HAPPY CHRISTMAS CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

Last night on my Facebook Live, I created this Christmas card using the Neutral Noel Suite, and I love how all the different textures and layers came together. I started with the Cherry Cobbler card base and added an embossed panel using the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder. To the panel, I added a strip of Designer Series Paper down the left-hand side. I love using white-on-white texture like this because it adds so much interest without taking anything away from the focal point. For the Christmas arrangement, I layered lots of delicate white die-cut foliage with stamped pine branches and berries. I tucked everything around the Happy Christmas sentiment, letting some of the branches extend beyond the main arrangement for a relaxed, natural look. I also added a bow using the Mossy Meadow Neutral Jute. I really like the extra texture this added.
