It's a sunny day here in Christchurch. I always feel more motivated when the sun is out. Today I decided to tidy my teenager daughter's room - it wasn't too messy just needed a little tlc. When I got to the drawer she keeps her jewellery in I decided to make some boxes to organise everything. It's a great way to use up DSP that is about to or has retired. I used the Irresistibly Yours from Sale-A-Bration. Jen at "I Heart Organizing" has a great tutorial on how to make boxes - it's under DIY Paper Box Drawer Organisers - Monday 25 August 2014. Before. After. The boxes. Enjoy your day - Angela
Hi again I'm back today with a card I made following The Paper Players Theme Challenge of Transportation. I used the stamp set Time to Celebrate from the Occasions Catalogue which finishes on 2 June - it's one of the Hostess sets. As we have a female dominant family male cards aren't my strong suit but with the help of the Adventure Bound DSP (Designer Series Paper) Paper Stack male cards are definitely easier. I should be concentrating on female cards - particularly a Mother's Day card for my mum tomorrow. Bye for now Angela
Hi I thought I would add a card to my blog so it wasn't looking so lost and alone. I used the Paper Players layout. Layout ideas are a great way to come up with your own ideas but have a design to work around. I have used the Be a Star stamp set - it's a great stamp set for masculine cards and thankfully staying in the new catalogue. Be back soon - Angela
Hi this is my little place to share my love of stamping and all things crafty. I've been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator since 2010 and love it! Who'd ever thought you could be paid to do what you love. Looking back I've been scrapbooking and card-making for years - I still have an album I made when I was 21. My other passion is beauty therapy hence the name! As blogging is new to me there are bound to be some teething issues so please bear with me. I follow lots of fabulous bloggers so hopefully I've learnt from the best.
