Casing Kylie!

Global Design Project #GDP008 Where have the last eight weeks gone? It's going to be Christmas before we know it! Here is my entry for the eighth Global Design Project. This week it's a CASE which by their definition means Copy and Selectively Edit - so you can be inspired by anything on the card and then make it your own. I chose the colours - Tip Top Taupe, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry Delightful Dijon and Very Vanilla. I love butterflies - I have six stamp sets with butterflies! They seem to have endless possibilities and look great in any colour!  Yay it's a short week but so much to do - we're having a Stampin' Up! Day on Saturday with over 30 guests - as always it will be lots of fun and everyone will leave with a stash of completed projects, attendance gift and prizes for the lucky ones! Hopefully I'll remember to take photographs to post.   Take care and have an awesome week - Angela x   Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog ...

My Little Farm Yard!

Talk about leaving it to the last minute ... I was determined not to let a GDP challenge go without making a entry so this morning I grabbed a cup of tea and headed for my craft room! Without a farm animal stamp in sight I put this card in a box together! I think it's kinda cute! Now I had better go have breakfast and get ready for the day - it's a long weekend here so even though I have to work today I get Monday off - yay!

Third Time Lucky!

Okay so this is the third time I have tried to write this post - clearly somebody is trying to tell me something! I've used the same layout and the same DSP to make the following cards for two different challenges. Pals Paper Arts The Paper Players Stampin' Up! have such beautiful papers it's a shame to cover them up. I'm off now don't want to redo this post for a fourth time! See you soon - Angela

CYCI - Design Team Member pick!

I can't believe it my Halloween card was picked on CYCI! It's so cool to be picked - my achievements are usually lived vicariously through my children so it's nice to be on the receiving end! The All Blacks are playing the French at the moment and we are well in the lead so it looks like a win for us - Proud to be a Kiwi! Have a Happy Sunday - Angela!

Global Design Project meets English Garden

Global Design Project #GDP006 I was going to say Hello Monday then I realised it was Tuesday! I've been looking at all the fabulous cards on the GDP and of course it's still Monday on the other side of the world. So Hello Tuesday! Between clients today I managed to put together a card for this week's challenge. After yesterday's card with the English Garden Designer Series Paper I was still in a pink mode so I decided to stick with that.   So now I've got time for a cup of tea before I start working again - no rest for the wicked!   See you again soon Angela x

A Card for Card's Sake!

Tonight I decided to make a card for the sake of just making a card - no challenges, no person in particular to make it for - just the sheer pleasure of making a card! The Cottage Greetings and English Garden DSP had both come in my last delivery so I decided to play with them. Melon Mambo and Old Olive were two of the first colours I ever got when I joined Stampin' Up - I still love them together. Anyway enough playing I've got a Demonstrators Stampin' Day on Saturday and I'm doing the make 'n' take and I need to do the finishing touches. It will be lots of fun getting together with the other members of our team. Thanks for stopping by - Angela x

Not Another Halloween Card!

My third Halloween card - but who's counting? To add a little bit of interest I've put Crystal Effects on the crows and cut out extra tombstones and raised them up. This card is for the Can You Case It blog - the Halloween Edition and TGIF challenges - Angela!

Global Design Project Winner!

Oh I can't believe it - I was scrolling down the winning cards on the Global Design Project website and there was my card.   Thanks for such inspiration, fun and support - you guys are amazing!

PPA271: A Color Challenge

I've only just received this paper in an order and it's lucky I did as it's the perfect match for Pals Paper Arts colour challenge this week. They're not colours I'd normally pick but I think they look great together and I love the English Garden DSP. The girls are back to school tomorrow and I've got a busy week but hopefully I'll be back soon - take care Angela x

Christmas Stampin' Extravaganza

We have a few places left for this fabulous fun day so let me know if you'd like to come - Angela

Butterfly Bookmark

A friend lent me the book "The Happiness Project" and while reading it I noticed some of the pages had been turned over, so as a thank you for lending me the book I decided to make a bookmark for her. When the girls were little I used to make them for all the children in their class as their end of year gift but now they're older I don't - I miss those little rituals. It's a beautiful day here so I'm off to enjoy it - have a happy Sunday - Angela x

Global Design Project

I'm loving the school holidays - there seems to be much more time in the day! Here is my card for the 5th Global Design Project. I thought the colours lent themselves to a baby card but when I got on the GDP website I changed my mind - there are so many fabulous cards on there! If I get the chance I'll try to make another card with this gorgeous colour combo. Enjoy the last few days of the hols - Angela Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Another Halloween Card!

So I've gone from never making a Halloween card to making two in one day! When I saw the Can You Case It Sketch Challenge I knew what I wanted to do and the Happy Haunting DSP fitted perfectly. I really should be cooking dinner but as it's school holidays things are a bit more relaxed around here! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

The Paper Players Halloween Challenge

I didn't expect to be making a Halloween card as it's not that big in New Zealand, although in saying that it is getting more popular and at the end of the month we're off to a Halloween party!     I did have this fabulous Happy Haunting DSP, so with that and the only Halloween stamp I possess  made this card. My inspiration came from a card Holly Stene had made. I love her style. This paper doesn't necessarily need to be used for Halloween cards, I've used nearly the whole pack making boys cards.
