Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop

Thursday 15 June 2017

Welcome to the second Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from New Zealand. I hope you enjoy my card showcasing one of my favourite carry over products.

I'm so pleased this stamp set Dragonfly Dreams and the co-ordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits are carrying over as they are one of my main go-to stamp sets for both male and female cards! Today I've stamped the sentiment in the new "Fresh Fig" ink to match the "Fresh Fig" designer series paper from the Fresh Florals stack. This paper is gorgeous, it has four designs in each of the new In Colours - Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide. And of course there's the new co-ordinating Finely Woven Ribbon in all the new In Colors.

To create the paper for the baby dragonflies I washed Fresh Fig ink (using my Aqua Painter) over a piece of Shimmery White cardstock before cutting it with the thinlit.

And a little inside decorating ...

This card is on its way to my friend Lynn. We've been friends since we were 5 - yes a very loooong time! She's a great friend - loyal, honest and generous to name a few of the fabulous things I love about her! And I chose Fresh Fig as it's one of her favourite colours.

I hope the card you've seen here on my blog has inspired you and brightened your day. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid. Please see the list below and hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You won't want to miss any!
