Monday 30 October 2017 Hello and welcome to my blog. Today's card is for the Global Design Project #GDP110 Sketch Challenge and here's the sketch that inspired my card. I love sketch challenges and this one is no exception. With Christmas just 8 weeks away I need to get a move on with making and sending my Christmas cards so it was a great opportunity to make a Christmas card. As it was such a fun and easy card to make, it would be perfect to make a pile of at once. The products I've used for my card are from the Year of Cheer Suite, which showcases intricate designs, elegant foil - perfect metallic projects! The Cheers to the Year stamp set also covers the New Year and Weddings making it a versatile set. Thanks for stopping by today and if you'd like more ideas using this sketch be sure to head over to the Global Design Project blog.

INK & INSPIRATION BLOG HOP
Thursday 26 October 2017 Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop for October. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. The theme this month is Holiday Catalogue - New Product. Please hop around the list at the bottom to check out all the wonderful projects created this month. The Cheers to the Year stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue is a lovely stamp set and has sentiments for Christmas, New Year and Wedding. My card today has been CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) from the Stampin' Success magazine. This is a quarterly magazine that Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators receive as one of the many fabulous benefits of being a demonstrator. In fact Stampin' Up!® encourage CASEing. They say "coming up with new projects can sometimes feel a little daunting. CASEing projects - and giving credit to their original designers - can help. There is no shame in gaining inspiration from others" and to me this is wha...

CASEING THE CATTY #151 CATTY COVERS & HOSTESS SETS
Sunday 22 October 2017 Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. We are CASEing the Catty Covers and Hostess Sets from both the Annual and Holiday Catalogues. My card has been CASEd from the card on the back of the Holiday Catalogue, pictured above, with a change to the orientation! For this card I used the Be Merry Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalogue and the stamp set is Cheers to the Year from the Holiday Catalogue. The ribbon is the ½" (1.3cm) Finely Woven Ribbon in Tranquil Tide and although it's Garden Green in the Be Merry DSP I think this works okay. And peeping out under the sentiment is one of those lovely Gold Foil Snowflakes. Enjoy the blog hop, there's always so much inspiration from my talented crew members and next on the blog hop is Monique Fielder, you won't want to miss her project. And please join us, we'd love to see your creations, just click on the link below: ...

PAPER ADVENTURES TEAM BLOG HOP - FAVOURITES
Friday 20 October 2017 Hello and welcome to my blog, you may have arrived here from my lovely friend Kelly Kent ! I'm so pleased to be hopping with Kelly and her Paper Adventures Team tonight (or 1am Saturday if you're in NZ). Kelly is one of the nicest people I've ever met, she exudes friendliness, kindness and happiness all bundled up into one gorgeous person. Kelly's theme this month is Favourites and I decided to use my Season to Sparkle Bundle which consists of the Season to Sparkle Stamp Set and the Chandelier Thinlits Dies. I love this set and have certainly had lots of use from it. For my card I've cut out two of the chandeliers, one in Pool Party Cardstock and the other in Silver Glimmer Paper then glued them together, slightly askew, to create a shadow. I've then added lots of the Black Rhinestone Jewels - these are my number one favourite embellishment! The bow at the top is tied in Black Baker's Twine Bow and the sent...

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 109 | COLOUR CHALLENGE
Friday 20 October 2017 Hello and welcome to my blog - it's lovely to have you here! My latest card is for this week's Global Design Project. I can hardly believe that another four weeks have rolled around and it's time for another colour challenge. And yes I've used that chandelier again! I have used this set sooooo much - I love it! The DSP is from Merry Little Christmas Suite and that's about the last piece. I've used it all up so it's time to order some more and, of course, Stampin' Up!® have that fabulous DSP special on at the moment (contact me for details). This time I've teamed the chandelier up with gold and Old Olive jewels and I'm really pleased with how it turned out as I wasn't sure how Old Olive jewels would work - but they do! Yay it's a long weekend here in New Zealand this weekend - Labour Day, so an extra day! Hopefully we'll have some lovely weather.

Global Design Project 108 | CASE the Designer
Monday 16 October 2017 Hello and welcome to my blog - thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are having a great day. Monday is my housework day but I'm having a little break to post my card for the Global Design Project. This week it's CASEing the lovely and talented Brian King, and here's his card to CASE. Brian's style is very clean cut so I tried to keep my card like that too, although I couldn't resist adding a couple of Rhinestones! The cute spotted background DSP is from the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack and I've picked out the Calypso Coral, Sweet Sugar Plum and Old Olive for the co-ordinating cardstock and colouring. The "birthday wishes" sentiment and flower are from the "Happiest of Days" stamp set. As I only wanted the words stamped I covered the rest of the stamp with washi, stamped it, removed the washi then stamped the sentiment. Sometimes it's good to look at sets and th...

CASEing the Catty #150 Favourite Big Shot Project
Sunday 15 October 2017 Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Today my card is based on my Favourite Big Shot Project from the Holiday Catalogue. You may be starting here or hopping over from the amazingly talented Kelly Kent . The next button at the bottom of the post will take you around the hop - you won't want to miss any! I've chosen the same page as last week's CASE but this week I'm CASEing the Season to Sparkle Bundle projects on the right hand side. Halloween is starting to grow here in New Zealand but we have a long way to go to catch up with our American and Canadian friends. A friend is married to a Canadian and a few years back she had a Halloween Party, she went all out from decorating the house to creating themed treats, it was lots of fun. So this card is for her! This Season to Sparkle Bundle from the Holiday Catalogue ha...

Inspire.Create.Challenges #002
Monday 9 October 2017 Yes there's a new Challenge Blog on the block - Inspire.Create.Stamping Challenges! My lovely friend Denita Wright-Smee is one of the design team members and I wanted to show my support to her new adventure by participating in this challenge. It's my mother's birthday later this month so I decided it was a good idea to get organised and make her card ahead of time. Starting with a palette of Soft Sky and Lemon Lime Twist I used my Pattern Party Decorative Masks with Stamping Sponges to create the patterned centre piece. To create the angle on the card base (as per the sketch) I used a piece of Soft Sky Classic Weave Ribbon - I ran it across the card, taped it underneath then used a shorter piece to tie a knot. I embossed Happy Birthday from the Butterfly Basics stamp set in gold embossing powder and added a few rhinestones to add some bling. The border down the side is made using the New "Ticket Tear Border" punch. Pop...

You may be starting here or hopping over from my lovely and talented friend Kelly Kent . The next button at the bottom of the post will take you around the hop - you won't want to miss any! I've CASEd the card on the top left hand side of the picture above and have taken it from Christmas card to Baby card! My lovely cousin has just given birth to the most adorable little girl and I made this card with her in mind! This card is made up of two stamp sets - the top half from the stony road up is the "In the City" Hostess set and Welcome Little One is from the "Little One" set. The background has been stamped using Powder Pink ink on a Powder Pink cardstock base and the sparkles are also from the "In the City" set. There are so many gre...
