Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and our challenge to CASE a gift packaging project.
I've chosen to CASE the mini pizza box on page 3 of the Holiday Catalogue which features the Host stamp set "Seasons of Whimsy".
You may be starting here or hopping over from Rebecca Scurr's lovely project. The next button at the bottom of the post will take you around the hop and you won't want to miss any!
A piece of the Year of Cheer Specialty DSP has been used to cover the lid of the box, I made sure to cut it so that the squares lay evenly on the lid! The sparkly edge and Joy stamps were gold embossed onto Whisper White cardstock then cut using the Layering Circles and Stitched Shaped Framelits respectively. I popped then both up with dimensionals.
The bow is one of the wood pieces from the Christmas Around the World Embellishments that I've rubbed Versamark ink over then sprinkled with gold embossing powder before heat-setting.
These Mini Pizza Boxes are food safe and are just the right size for holding a cookie - oh and 3" x 3" (7.6 x 7.6 cm) note cards!
Enjoy the hop, there's always so much inspiration from my talented crew members and next on the hop is Kathryn Mangelsdorf, you'll love her fabulous project.
And please join us, we'd love to see your creations, just click on the link below.
