While it's the school holidays here in New Zealand I'm making the most of a little extra time to play along with some different challenges. Today I'm playing along with this sketch challenge over at CAS(E) this Sketch.
I love a great sketch and this one is no exception.
For this card I've cut up one of the card bases from the Perennial Birthday Project Kit and added it to a Calypso Coral card base along with a Polka Dot Basics embossed piece at the top. I've wrapped a piece of Flirty Flamingo Baker's Twine around the join and topped it with flowers I've cut out from the printed die-cut accents - also from the Perennial Birthday Project Kit. I know some people will be hyper-ventilating just thinking about cutting these but it really is okay!
Happy Birthday is from the co-ordinating stamp set for this kit - Perennial Birthday and is stamped in Night of Navy. To cut around the Happy Birthday I've used a framelit from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies, I've just made it smaller.
A little bit of stamping in the middle with a leftover flower added and some more Baker's Twine around the base.
Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back later this week with a couple of projects for a new hop I've been asked to join. I look forward to sharing that exciting news with you.
Have a great week!
