Hello and welcome to our Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop for March! Each month I hop with this fabulous group of 12 demonstrators from around the world who create an amazing bundle of tutorials. This month we have a special guest joining us - Emma Goddard. Emma is based in West Sussex in the UK and is a Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Member. It's a pleasure to have Emma join us.
The tutorials are based on current products available in the Stampin' Up! catalogues and have both metric and imperial measurements so wherever you are in the world you can purchase and create these exclusive projects. We will be showcasing a project using the same bundle as in our tutorial. It isn't the same project, the projects in the Tutorial Bundle are exclusive and not shown anywhere else.
The Tutorial Bundle is $20NZ or place an order over $50NZ this month with me to receive this month's tutorial for free.
March's tutorials have been created using products from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue which runs till 31 May 2018. This catalogue is full of lots of new and exciting Stampin' Up!® products.
One of my favourite suites in the Occasions Catalogue is True Gentleman. I usually struggle to create male cards but this suite makes it incredibly easy. From the timeless Designer Series Paper to the elegant accessories there are countless possibilities.
For today's card I've chosen the Dapper Day sentiment from the Truly Tailored stamp set and stamped it in Dapper Denim. The moustache and the dots either side of the "wishing you a" have been coated in Fine-Tip Glue. The circle die is from the Stitched Shaped Framelits and is a perfect size for this sentiment.
The background has been created with Tranquil Tide ink on Shimmery White cardstock which is perfect for watercolouring. I used the smooshing technique and if you're not familiar with how to do this here's a link to a little tutorial I did -
The Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine has been wound around several times and stuck down with Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To get the black enamel shapes I simply coloured them using a Sharpie. They can also be coloured using the Stampin' Blends.
