TUTTI-FRUTTI CARD: ALL STAR TUTORIAL BUNDLE BLOG HOP

Monday 2 April 2018

Hello and welcome to our Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop for April!

Each month I hop with this fabulous group of 12 demonstrators from around the world who create an amazing bundle of tutorials. This month we have a special guest joining us - Linda Dalke. Linda has been a demonstrator since 2006 and lives on the Central Coast in Australia. It's a pleasure to have Linda join us.

The tutorials are based on current products available in the Stampin' Up! catalogues and have both metric and imperial measurements so wherever you are in the world you can purchase and create these exclusive projects. We will be showcasing a project using the same bundle as in our tutorial. It isn't the same project, the projects in the Tutorial Bundle are exclusive and not shown anywhere else.

The Tutorial Bundle is $20NZ or place an order over $50NZ this month with me to receive this month's tutorial for free.

April's tutorials have been created using products from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue which runs till 31 May 2018.  This catalogue is full of lots of new and exciting Stampin' Up!® products.

Stampin' Up! often have quirky sentiments in their sets and "we make a great pear" in the Fruit Basket stamp set is one of those. It works perfectly for my anniversary card as on the 2nd of May my husband and I celebrate 20 years of marriage! I'm feeling very pleased with myself as not only have I made my card a month ahead of time, it's in his favourite colour so I'll get extra Brownie points for that!

I created my card base using the Shimmery White cardstock as I wanted to watercolour it and this cardstock is perfect for that. I've cut the cardstock to the same size as the Narrow Cards from the Occasions Catalogue - 11.5 cm x 12.7 cm (4.5" x 5") then scored and folded in half.

To create the "smooshed" background I pressed a piece of window sheet onto the Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad, spritzed it with water and pressed it onto the card base.

The pears have also been stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and punched out using the co-ordinating Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack. They are on a circle cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits which has some Silver Metallic Thread wound around underneath it. Three silver sequin from the Metallics Sequin Assortment add a little bling too!

And here's a sneak peek of what is included in this months tutorial bundle:
