CASEING THE CATTY CTC183 - ANIMAL EXPEDITION

Sunday 17 June 2018

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from The Animal Expedition Suite on pages 26-37 of the new Annual Catalogue!  You may have arrived here from seeing Megan's gorgeous project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.

My inspiration this week came from the little kitten card (in the picture below) from page 31 of the Annual Catalogue.
I've created my card using the Little Elephant stamp set.

I've kept the layout the same just changed the colours to co-ordinate with the Bermuda Bay ribbon. I stamped the elephant first then created a mask so I could stamp the flowers in the background.

The elephant and flowers have been stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock so the background could be watercoloured. I've created a list of supplies below to make it easier for you to find what I've used but I'm always happy to answer any queries - just email me at angela.frank00@gmail.com.

Here's a list of supplies I used:

Stamp Set: Little Elephant

Inks: Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzazz, Pacific Point, Blushing Bride, Night of Navy

Papers: Whisper White, Shimmery White

Accessories: Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon, Share What You Love Artisan Pearls

Tools: Classic Label Punch, Layering Circle Framelits, Polka Dot Basics, Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Adhesives: SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals

Techniques: Watercolouring, masking
