Hello and thanks for stopping by today. My cards are for this week's Global Design Project Colour Challenge and use the three colours below:
With the upcoming Confirmation of my two daughters and two of their friends, I needed four cards and decided to use the colour combination as my starting point.
The flowers from the Botanical Tags Thinlits have been cut from a piece of Shimmery White cardstock water coloured with Grapefruit Grove. The one on the right has also been layered onto the water coloured paper. The background crosses are from the Healing Hugs stamp set and are stamped in Mint Macaron.
"May God bless and keep you" is stamped in Fresh Fig (I stamped it off first and this is the second, lighter version).
I then added a piece of Pearlized Doily, some Mint Macaron Nature's Twine and three Clear Rhinestones!
These two also use the same colours! The striped paper is Mint Macaron from the Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, the flower is in Grapefruit Grove and the words are again in Fresh Fig.
Two sets of quite different cards, it was fun playing around with the colour combination.
Be sure to check out the other projects using this colour combination on the Global Design Project Blog.
Here's a list of supplies I used:
Inks: Grapefruit Grove Fresh Fig, Mint Macaron
Papers: Shimmery White, Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Subtles Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Nature's Twine in Mint Macaron, Pearlized Doilies
Tools: Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits,
Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon!

It’s amazing how different the flower looks colored in vs not colored in. I love them both.
