CASEING THE CATTY #191 | NATURE'S POEM

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the Nature's Poem Suite on pages 142-152 of the Annual Catalogue.  You may have arrived here from seeing Megan's gorgeous project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.

This week my inspiration came from the "you make me proud"  card below on page 152 of the Annual Catalogue.

How cute is this card? The colour combination is so fresh and I love the layout!

For the background of my cards I used the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and layered it up with ribbon, metallic thread, leaves coloured in Lemon Lime Twist ink, vellum leaves and topped it off with the sentiment.

My top version has the Poppy Parade Mini Striped Ribbon under it with "Especially for You" stamped in co-ordinating Poppy Parade ink.

While the bottom version has Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon under it with "Especially for You" stamped in Lemon Lime Twist ink. Both ovals have a Pool Party wash over them!

Which one do you prefer?
