Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the Festive Farmhouse Suite on pages 12-17 of the new Holiday Catalogue. You may have arrived here from seeing Rachel's gorgeous project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.
This week my inspiration came from the "Happy Christmas Wishes" card above on page 12 of the Holiday Catalogue.
My card has been made using the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Beautiful You Stamp Set - and yes I'm still not ready for Christmas! This paper is printed on shimmery white paper and is gorgeous. The piece of Powder Pink cardstock layered on the card base has been embossed using the Subtle 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
To create the "sewed" circle in the middle of the card I've used Silver Metallic Thread. Then I've layered leaves cut from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies in Mint Macaron, loops made using Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine then a piece of Whisper White Cardstock stamped and cut using the Tailored Tag Punch.
I stamped the sentiment (from the Beautiful You stamp set) in Powder Pink on the tag then again in Night of Navy on a scrap piece and fussy cut it before adhering it using Dimensionals.
In place of the three little stars I've used silver sequin from the Metallics Sequin Assortment.
