Hello and welcome to this month's Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. The complete list at the bottom will guide you through all the inspirational projects created by the team.
The theme this month is Technique Savvy and I've chosen to showcase three different techniques to create my little gift bag!
The first technique is Embossing. I've used the new Tufted 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on my gift bag to create this lovely "quilt" effect.
The next technique is Heat Embossing. I rubbed the Embossing Buddy over the area, then dipped the tip of my blender pen into the Versamark Watermark Ink from the Refill bottle and made little dots on the Embossed gift bag, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder then heat set it. Remember to use the Embossing Buddy - it really does make a difference!
The third technique was cutting out the label and the heart from the Stitched Labels Framelits with the Big Shot.
Making the gift bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board could also be considered a technique too - so that makes four!
I love how this little gift bag turned out and I'm looking forward to finding the perfect gift to pop inside for my niece's 21st birthday next month!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop. You won't want to miss all the fabulous techniques the team has to share!
