CASEING THE CATTY #203 | CASE HOSTESS SETS

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the Hostess Sets in the Stampin' Up!® Catalogues.  You may have arrived here from seeing Peta's lovely project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.

This week my inspiration came from the "Joy" card below on page 55 of the Holiday Catalogue.

I've kept the layout the same but changed everything else!

For my card I've used the gorgeous Country Lane Designer Series Paper. The design on this paper reminds me of ticking fabric. I love how the Blackberry Bliss card base and oval brings out the Blackberry Bliss stripes.

I cut out three of the flower images from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies and layered them on top of each other to create some dimension - the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets make this soooo easy! The little leaves poking out from under the oval are also from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies.

The pearlised sequin from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment co-ordinate perfectly with the Blackberry Bliss!

  1. Wow this is amazing. The colours make it look so different from the original but it's a perfect case. I love the three layered flower piece. Great idea.

  2. Beautiful CASE Angela. The 3 layers of flower really add some dimension, very clever.
