STAMPIN' UP! ARTISAN DESIGN TEAM - SAILING HOME

Welcome to the Artisan Design Team's June Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid in Christchurch, New Zealand. Thanks for hopping along with us as we share our inspirational projects featuring products from the Come Sail Away Suite.

This Suite had me at "Night of Navy" - I just love blue! With it's stunning stripes and cute images of lighthouses and yachts this paper is perfect for male cards!

The dies in the co-ordinating Smooth Sailing Dies set can be used with the Sailing Home Stamp Set or alone to create these great layering pieces.

And add a cute little trinket from the Sail Away Trinkets to step it up a notch or two!

The Night of Navy and Sahara Sand Baker's Twine adds a rope look to add to the authentic sailing theme!

I've even coloured the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with my Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blend to make them a little more "manly" and to co-ordinate with the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.

For this card I've used a sticker from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack as my sentiment.

I love how these papers look layered up!

 How cool is the seaweed?

Left over right and under, then right over left and under ... those Girl Guide rope tying lessons have not gone unused! Who knew all these years later I'd be tying Reef Knots on my cards!

Next up on the hop is my gorgeous and super-talented friend Ashley Van Camp. Please click on the link below to continue on the hop.
