CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE - STAMPIN' UP! ARTISAN BLOG HOP

Hello and welcome to the Christmastime is Here Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Yes Christmas is coming early this year! I'm so excited to be sharing my cards using the gorgeous new products from this Suite! This Suite combines the beautiful rich colours of Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade with Gold Foil.

It's so lovely to have a Suite that enables you to create Christmas themed projects that are a little different from your traditional Christmas ones. And who doesn't love a lovely bracelet that is a limited edition?

The floral bouquet on this card has been die cut using the large rose die that also cuts out the stamped image. The top of my card has been created by cutting out Whisper White Cardstock using the filigree die and splattering it with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. The Gold ¼” Shimmer Ribbon and Gold Glitter Enamel Dots tie everything together perfectly.

Love a little fussy cutting? I fussy cut some of the smaller floral and leaf images and layered them under the Merry Christmas sentiment. I also added some of the thread pulled from the ribbon and gold foil cut using the filigree die. The Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint adds to the glitter!

The little berries have been coated with Fine-Tip Glue to make them shiny and raised.

The cut out floral images have been layered under the sentiment along with some gold thread pulled from the ribbon and gold foil cut out with the filigree die. I also flicked some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint on the background!

I made these cards as I wanted to show how easily this Suite caters for every crafter - from beginner/casual to avid!

This card was made for the new/casual stamper in mind (or for those who like to create a quick card)! The floral image was die cut from the Designer Series Paper using the co-ordinating die cut and adhered to the layered up card base with Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink directly onto the Whisper White Cardstock with a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and a snippet of Gold ¼” Shimmer Ribbon added. I also glued a piece of the co-ordinating DSP to the flap of the envelope - quick and simple but adds a lovely finishing touch!

And for this card I added some extra detail. The Whisper White layer has been embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder, die cut with the Stitched Rectangles and splashed with some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. It is layered up with a floral image that has been fussy cut with additional flowers and pinecones fussy cut and layered on top. I also added some ribbon, Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack, Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, a loop of Gold ¼” Shimmer Ribbon, filigree pieces die cut in Gold Foil, the berries coated in Fine-Tip Glue and Merry Christmas also fussy cut!

I used my Bone Folder and slightly rounded the edges of the flowers and pinecones.

And for those of you who love to watercolour - this is for you! Gold embossing an image creates an edge which helps to stop the colours running into each other. The Cherry Cobbler has taken on a pinker colour on the Watercolour Paper. It also has a lot of the same elements as the previous card. Don't be afraid to try water colouring, start slowly and build up the colour - you can also add more! I love it!
