Hello and welcome to this week's Social Stamping Blog Host created by the fabulous Kelly Kent. Kelly wanted to give us a platform to share our creations due to the world being in various stages of social distancing and isolation. You may have arrived from Tanya's blog, or if you are starting here please be sure to hop all the way around, you won't want to miss any of the lovely projects everyone has to share.
The theme for today is "friend"! I am privileged to have meet so many wonderful friends during the 10 years of being a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator from all around the world!
Here in Christchurch, New Zealand we are currently in day 24 of staying at home. It's beginning to feel quite normal and I imagine it will take time to immerse ourselves back into "normal" life!
In honour of all the beautiful friendships I've made, this is for you! Kelly's window of butterflies last week inspired me to pull out my Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and co-ordinating Butterfly Duet Punch.
I started by stamping "thanks" in Gray Granite, added the butterflies then flicked Wink of Stella over it all!
"Thanks" and "Friend" are both from the Well Said Stamp Set.
I hope wherever you are in the world you are keeping well and staying safe.
Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the hop - Kia Kaha!
Next up is Chantell Randall, I look forward to seeing her gorgeous creation.
This is totally swoon worthy Angela. I haven't used my butterflies for so long, but I think I'm going to have to dig them out to case this card. It's just gorgeous xx
So gorgeous. Love these butterflies and I love the colours you've used too! Yes, I think I need to get my butterflies out again too! Thankyou for the amazing inspiration.
Such a stunning card. I love the subtle colours you have chosen. I hadn’t used my butterflies in ages either but also pulled them out this week for a play. The Wink of Stella adds the little extra.
This is just the sweetest Angela. I think we all went into butterfly overdrive when they first came out, then got distracted with other new things, but I love this time of the year when we return to past favourites! Kelly x
I love your colours on this card with your background sentiment stamping. I love the subtle embossing folder strip down the side. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card with us. Mandy x
