Hello and welcome to today's Social Stamping Blog Host! We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators brought together by the very lovely and talented Kelly Kent. For the last eight weeks, we have been sharing our creations as a means of bringing us together due to the world being in various stages of social distancing and isolation. You may have arrived here from seeing Julia Quinn's fabulous creation, or if you are starting here please be sure to hop around everyone, you won't want to miss any of the inspiring projects everyone has to share.
The theme for this blog hop is "Sunshine" and with the sentiment "Hello Sunshine", I decided the "Under My Umbrella" Stamp Set was perfect for this!
With more time than normal to experiment, I played around with the embossing paste, water-colouring and the Champagne Shimmer Mist! I love this subtle background with the bright and cheerful umbrella on top!
Confession time ... this was the first time I had used this set and, "atm", I don't have the co-ordinating punch! That is all about to change! Anyways, colouring these images and fussy cutting them out was fun and I love this set!
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the hop and feel the sunshine! Over the last eight weeks, here in Christchurch, we have had the most amazing autumnal weather. I think it has really made "Lockdown" bearable, here's to more sunshine!
I'm back at work now, it's a new normal for me - PPE on, disinfecting and sanitising like crazy! But happy to be safe and heading in the right direction.
Take care everyone, we have got this! Please click on the next button below to visit Lisa and see what inspiring project she has created!
