STAMPING SOCIETY APRIL BLOG HOP ꘡BLENDING BRUSHES

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Society's April Blog Hop and Monthly Tutorial.

This month we are featuring projects using the Blending Brushes. I have chosen the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set and co-ordinating Suit & Ties Dies to create my projects. Here's a sneak peek of the creations everyone has made this month using Blending Brushes.

APRIL TUTORIAL SNEAK PEEK:

We have a video tutorial available, showcasing six different and exclusive projects. You can get these tutorials by:
  1. Buying the tutorials ($10.25 NZD from me or equivalent in each market), click on the Buy Now Button under Tutorials for Sale at the top of this page, to make your purchase; or
  2. Spend $37 worth of Stampin' Up! product from me and you'll get these for free.
  3. Get them for free as a member of my Stampin' Up! Team.

Blending Brushes are a great way to add colour, especially if you want to graduate the colour! Here I've White Embossed the sentiment over the background then added Pacific Point ink. I started in the middle and worked the colour outwards, the darker colour in the centre of the card creates a focal point and draws the eye in.

The tie was stamped in Memento Black Ink and die cut and layered with a Night of Navy bow and the sentiment embossed in White onto Basic Cardstock and punched out with the Classic Label Punch. The Pacific Point sequins were added from the Whale of a Time Sequins pack.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope my project has inspired you to get creative! Please continue on the hop to see everyone's inspirational projects.
