BE INSPIRED | STAMPIN' BLENDS

Welcome to September's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! This month the theme is Stampin' Blends, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! For my card I embossed the floral and leaf images and then coloured them with Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight. GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #362 | SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is a sketch challenge and below is the a picture of this week's sketch. What are your favourite challenges? Challenges are a great way to get your creative juices following and to try new ideas. For this week's sketch I used the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set and co-ordinating Hydrangea Dies. GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #361 | COLOUR CHALLENGE

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is a c olour challenge and below are the colours we are using this week. I was a little nervous when I saw the two greens, as green is not one of my go to colours but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved how the Shaded Spruce looked when blended on the background and will definitely be using it more. I usually find colour challenges the hardest but as Flirty Flamingo is one of my go-to pinks I didn't need much encouragement to use that and Parakeet Party is similar to Granny Apple Green which is my go-to green so it was win-win! I used the Fluid 100 Water Colour Paper for the background layer and sentiment as it has a slightly cream tinge to it and I thought the Basic White would be a little stark.
