Welcome to October's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! This month the theme is Masking, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! Please be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team.
You may have arrived here from my gorgeous friend Emma in the United Kingdom. Emma makes the most amazing cards!
There are different masking techniques! You can cover an area with Masking Paper to protect an area from being inked when stamping or by using Decorative Masks. I chose to water colour through one of the masks from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks. Elaine Schader had used it on one of her cards and I just loved it!
If you like water colouring then you'll really like this technique and like water colouring, it turns out differently every time you do it!
I also water coloured some Shimmery White Paper and die cut three butterflies from the Brilliant Wings Dies to add to the card!
I'm going to be playing and creating with this technique on Friday in my Facebook Live if you are interested in joining me! Click here to go to my Facebook Page.
Next up in today's hop is my lovely and inspirational friend Janneke in The Netherlands, I'm looking forward to seeing what gorgeous creation Janneke has to share with us. Then there's Brian, I can't wait to see what Brian has made too - all the links are below!
