STAMPING SOCIETY NOVEMBER BLOG HOP꘡OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Hello! Today I am sharing my project for the Stamping Society's November Blog Hop and Monthly Tutorial.

Our theme this month is to create something "Out of Your Comfort Zone"! It was quite hard to come up with something but I finally decided to create a card with some ripping on it! I have to admit I love straight lines and I avoid angles but I actually liked it more than I thought I would! So perhaps I might do it a little more often now! Here's a sneak peek of the creations everyone has made this month.

NOVEMBER TUTORIAL SNEAK PEEK:

We have a written tutorial available, showcasing six different and exclusive projects. You can get these tutorials by:
  1. Buying the tutorials ($10.00 NZD from me or equivalent in each market), click on the Buy Now Button under Tutorials for Sale at the top of this page, to make your purchase; or
  2. Spend $37 worth of Stampin' Up! product from me and you'll get these for free.
  3. Get them for free as a member of my Stampin' Up! Team.

The Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper worked really well with this technique and I thought the bark like DSP looked great next to the poinsettia pattern.

A little tip - to create "more" bow and for a softer effect, cut you ribbon in half down the centre and then tie a bow. I find the bow is a little less stiff and I like how it adds more volume.

To see how I created this card, please pop over to my YouTube channel here to see my video or if you would like to purchase the step by step written tutorials for all our projects please click on the link below.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope my project has inspired you to get creative! Please continue on the hop to see everyone's inspirational projects.
