Hi! Today I am sharing my card for this week's Global Design Project Sketch Challenge. (Due to the holidays this challenge will run for two weeks.)
I feel like a bit of a rebel as I flipped the sketch over! But that is the beauty of a sketch, it's a great inspirational starting point.
This little owl is so cute!
To a little interest in the background, I splattered ink from the Polished Pink Stampin' Blends onto the embossed background and also splattered water onto the Polished Pink blended background behind the little owl.
To create co-ordinating jewels, I coloured three Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Polished Pink Stampin' Blends. You can, of course, do this with all the Stampin' Blends, just colour it gently as the faceted edges of the jewels can damage the nib.
