The Be Inspired Design Team are hopping today and our theme this month is "Subtle". I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! Please be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team.
I created my card using the no-line water colouring technique. To do this I used Smoky Slate ink, stamped it off a couple of times then stamped it onto Shimmery White Cardstock before water colouring it.
This card was a labour of love!
To avoid the colour on each petal blending into each other, I coloured each alternate petal, then went back and water coloured the ones I had skipped.
For the background, I stamped the leaf images (again in Smoky Slate stamped off twice) and water coloured them in Soft Sea Foam, then coloured around them with Pool Party ink. I also added a few splatters on Pool Party.
I added a bow tied from Pool Party Sheer Ribbon underneath a gold embossed sentiment and added five gold sequins.
Next up in today's hop is my lovely and inspirational friend Brenda in Canda, I'm looking forward to seeing what gorgeous creation Brenda has to share with us.
