CTC SUNDAY CHALLENGE - CELEBRATING 500 CHALLENGES

How exciting to be back with the CTC Sunday Challenge Team this week, celebrating 500 challenges. To celebrate we are casing our choice from either of the catalogues. I chose this card from page 49 of the September-December 2024 Mini Catalogue., and here's my card. The Friendly Seagulls Stamp Set is a FREE Sale-A-Bration set available from 7 January 2025, it's super cute with these little images and I love the sentiments! Sometimes stamp sets with little images are tricky to create with, but this layout using the Perennial Postage Dies works perfectly! To create the background, I blended Azure Afternoon Ink onto Balmy Blue Cardstock and splattered it with White Pigment ink. Popping the dies up with Dimensionals always adds a little something! The Tinsel Gems in Misty Moonlight add a little sparkle too! BE INSPIRED | CHRISTMAS CHARACTERS

The Be Inspired Design Team is hopping today and our theme this month is "Christmas Characters". I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease be sure to check out all the inspiring projects created by the design team. How gorgeous is this St Nicholas from The Traditions of St Nick Designer Series Paper? He reminds me of Santas from my early years! I added a couple of the Christmas trees too, these have all been fussy cut from the paper. I created a background using the Forever Plaid Embossing Powder and added Cherry Cobbler around the edges of the card to create some depth. Adding the gold ink splattering, gold metallic gems and gold bow brings everything together! I use the Winsor & Newton Gold Ink for my splatter.
